Global biofuel consumption is expected to increase
Global biofuel consumption is expected to increase, especially in the developing countries. But, future developments in the international biofuel markets will depend on the national policies as well as consumption demand. For example, in Australia, biofuel demand contracted by nearly 4% between 2019 and 2020. This poses a serious challenge to the country’s ambition to move towards renewables.
CO2 tickets to complement our carbon reduction
On a global scale, Osta Energy sources a variety of feedstocks for the biofuel industry including vegetable oil, waste residues, by-products, etc., and then processes them to produce low CO2-emitting biofuels for end consumers across the world. We also trade CO2 tickets to complement our carbon reduction strategy. Osta Energy aims to make substantial contributions to Australia’s initiatives towards renewable energies.
